Free Books – 8/9/2021

Here we are, another Monday! It’s Mister’s last week of camp this week and it’s kind of bittersweet. He’s had a blast going, but I think it’ll be nice having the next couple of weeks not running him up and picking him up, though it’s been a nice change of pace to have a bit more time to myself knowing he’s having fun and using up his constant supply of energy. Over the weekend I received an email letting me know we were awarded a partial scholarship for tuition to the private school I’ve been hoping to enroll him in. Partial is the key word there. I’m over the moon about it, but the scholarship will only cover half of the tuition and additional expenses, so now I have to figure out a way to make up the difference. I really am hoping we’ll be able to figure something out, but if not, I’m ready to suck it up and homeschool him again this year. It’s not that I mind doing it, I most certainly don’t. But I know how much of a social butterfly he is and how he loves being around other kids, so I know he’d thrive being in a classroom environment. I’ll keep you updated on the situation. For now, let’s get into today’s free books!
