Free Books – 9/2/2021

Well, did you think I’d run away on you? Honestly, I needed to take a break and reassess things. Especially with Mister back at homeschooling for first grade, I had some things to figure out. He officially started first grade August 30th, so we’re four days in so far. He’s doing really well, but I think we need to factor in some breaks between lessons because he has trouble sitting still and focusing. Then again, what first grader doesn’t to some degree, right? He’s also taking piano lessons this year and has had two lessons so far. He learned his first (short) song and has been practicing it this past week. He has his lesson every Monday and seems to enjoy it so far. I’m glad I kept in touch with the woman I had lessons with years ago. That’s who his teacher is and she’s great with him. If you didn’t see it, I sent out a newsletter this afternoon. I missed sending it out two weeks ago because there was a lot going on. But, while I was taking a break I decided to send newsletters every other Thursday instead of Wednesday. And, I made one more change too. I’ll only be posting free books to my blog once a week, on Thursdays as well. I feel like it’s going to be too much to keep up with 5 days a week. I really need to get back to writing, so I need to make time for that. And I’ve actually been doing some writing today! Mister’s lessons are on video with worksheets, so I have a bit more time to get some work done, but I keep an eye on him as well. Anyway, I had meant to get this posted earlier in the day, but I’m here now, so let’s see what today’s free books are.
