Free Books – 9/9/2021

Well, this past week has had some ups and downs. I feel like I could say that most weeks though. Am I right? Mister’s almost done the last of his assignments for today. We took off Monday for the holiday, had school Tuesday and took off yesterday because we went to a homeschool picnic at a nearby park. It gave him a chance to get out of the house and spend some time around other children. He’s doing pretty good with his piano lessons and making sure to practice too. I stayed up too late last night because I felt myself dozing as I sat with him during his lessons. Once I get this post up and have some lunch, I need to go to the grocery store though, so I can’t take a nap. There’s a lot more coming up too, like a hand-building pottery class on Saturdays for a few weeks at the arts center right up the street from us. I let him choose a class to take and that’s what he chose. Normally he doesn’t like to get his hands messy, so I warned him and even showed him a video of some children making pottery so he could see that his hands will get messy and even his clothes might get messy too. I think he’ll have fun with it. I did when I was a child. But I also didn’t mind getting messy. Alright, since I’m only doing one post a week, let’s get to the free books we have today!
