Here it is, May 5th, 2019. I love that Spring is here… for the most part. I’m not crazy about the weather being all over the place and the bugs. Oh man, the bugs! I know mosquitos come with the territory of warmer weather, but I feel like I’m getting eaten alive! Even if I’m only outside for 10 minutes, I guarantee I’ve got at least two bites. I need to mix up more of my essential oils bug spray. Oh and actually remember to use it!
Writing… is writing, lol. No, I finished the first draft of the novella and now I’m brainstorming a title. I’m also debating a sort of “trigger warning” in the front or something. While it’s not in-depth or anything like that, there is talk of an attempted sexual assault in the text, and I feel like I should give readers a heads-up. I’d love to hear your thoughts about this.
Once I settle on a title, I can work on the cover while I work on revising. If you’ve kept an eye on my Facebook page, or you’re a member of the group, you’ve seen that I recently printed the first novel in the series so I can read through it. But, I’ve also printed the novella as well and that’s what I’m focusing my revising efforts on right now.
I do hope you’re enjoying yourself this Sunday. I know I am! So much so that I ended up dozing off in my recliner with Mister for a bit this morning. It was nice.
