I skipped yesterday because my mom, me, and Mister did a bit of shopping together. Mister had some Christmas money from his great uncle and wanted to spend it on some toys. We went to Five Below and he even picked out a few things for his cousin who’s about the same age, just a few months younger. She LOVES unicorns and princess anything, so Mister picked out stuff she’ll love. My mom even snuck away and bought him his first weighted blanket. It’s only 5 pounds, but I think he’ll love it. Tomorrow my mom and I have plans to do a little shopping just the two of us because she wants to get a few things more things for Mister. Oh, and I dragged my butt out of bed at 5am to go to the grand opening of a LIDL grocery store right around the corner from my house. It took over a building of another grocery store that closed earlier this year. It was me, Mister’s godmother and her sister all waiting in line outside in the cold for about an hour and a half in total. They had a ribbon cutting, and it was all over Facebook. We were pretty close to the front and the first 100 people in line got gift cards ranging from $5 to $100. We all got $5 cards, lol. Anyway, let’s get on with the books.
