Well, Mister finished his schoolwork again before lunchtime! Oh, and we’re home again today. It’s nice not running around like a chicken with its head cut off, and getting fed up with Mister for not eating his breakfast and not wanting to listen to me so we can get out the door before the entire morning’s gone. Honestly, part of the problem is that I need to get up earlier, but it’s hard for me. I’ve been doing better about getting to bed earlier, but I get wrapped up in doing things in the evening when I don’t have to worry about other things and it’s nice feeling like I’m being a bit productive. Plus I usually get a second wind after Mister goes to bed. Usually. Other nights it’s a struggle to keep my eyes open.
But, I’m finally moving forward with rewriting the Tainted Hearts Prequel: Spin the Bottle. I finished chapter one and handed it over to a handful of alpha/beta readers the other day. I’ve gotten feedback from a few of them so far, but I’m waiting on the others. I let them know I’d like to have it back in about a week, so hopefully by this Sunday I’ll have feedback from everyone else. I’m really hoping to find a few loyal beta readers that will stick with me through the entire series and provide feedback for me. If they do that, I’ll give them a free copy of each of the ebooks once they’re ready to be released.
