Yesterday Mister and I went to his godparents for dinner, like we do every Wednesday. Except, around 9 last night, the heavens opened up and kept dumping buckets of rain on us. Rather than tempting fate, we hunkered down at their place for the night, mostly because I didn’t want to keep him up too late waiting the rain out. He was a good sport even though he didn’t have all his usual stuff, specifically his stuffies as we call them he likes to sleep with every night. They had some at their house, so he made do with them and zonked right out. I, on the other hand, had a restless night, couldn’t get comfortable and didn’t get much sleep. I also got a wet dog nose in the face sometime around 6 am. But we’re home now. I have my coffee and I just got out of the shower. Hopefully, I’ll feel more human soon because I need to run out and I have work I need to get done as well. I’m not super worried about doing school with Mister today, though we might do some of his online work. This is why I’m glad I decided to homeschool instead of going the virtual learning route through the schools.
